Inside the Working Studios of Uptown Artists
The Santa Barbara Uptown Open Studio Tour weekend is a special annual tradition that brings art enthusiasts and creators together. Our neighborhoods are a vibrant hub for working artists, spanning painters, sculptors, found-object innovators, and multi-media creators.
For one weekend in May, we open our private workspaces — studios tucked away in backyard gardens, hidden lofts, and creative home workshops. This free, self-guided weekend tour offers a rare glimpse into the artistic process. You can chat directly with the artists, see the tools of the trade, and discover the diverse talent right here in Uptown Santa Barbara.
