Kristen Walker is a Santa Barbara-based conservation artist painting the distinctive landscapes and native and endemic plant life of California’s Channel Islands. Working in acrylic, she creates botanical portraits and landscapes inspired by time spent in the field exploring, observing, and learning about the islands’ remarkable ecosystems.
